Our Policy on Youth and Children
- Children and Youth are always welcome at our Fort Lauderdale Opa.
- Children under the age of 8 are not subject to cover charges and/or food-minimums.
- All Children between the ages of 9 and 12, dinning after 6:00 PM on the weekends -during season- are subject to a $ 15.00 minimum [per person].
- Children and Youth over the ages of 13, reserving after 6:30 PM on the weekends -during season- are subject to a $ 25.00 minimum [per person].
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING
Though Taverna Opa is a rather happy, boisterous, and at times chaotic environment, Parents are urged to
to carefully supervise all children and youth ensuring that :
- No child, or youth under 18, is ever allowed in the Restaurant Patio Area unless with Adult supervision and presence
of at least one adult for every 4 to 5 youth, or children.
- No child, or youth under 18, is ever allowed to dance on our Stage after 8:30 PM during Season-Weekends
- No child, or youth under 21, is ever allowed within 25 feet of the Bar and/or High Top Area.
- No child, or youth under 21, is ever allowed to drink alcoholic beverages -even with parental permission.
Please note that we do carry non-alcoholic Champagne, and a variety of Non-Alcoholic Drinks and Martinis.
- No child, or youth under 18, is ever allowed to dance on any other table, except the one assigned to their family.

Finally, please note that ALL children must be carefully supervised that they do
not run around the Restaurant interfering with other guests, or our service
staff.
